𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼?
Kambo (Phyllomedusa Bicolor) originates from the Amazon and has been used by indigenous tribes for thousands of years for various healing purposes. Kambo is the secretion of a frog from the Amazon that is administered through small burnt holes in the top layer of the skin. The peptides of the Kambo are very similar to those of humans, allowing Kambo to open up the cells. This ensures a deep cleaning process on a cellular level, everything that does not belongs in the cells will be removed. This thorough cleaning benefits body and mind which results in, among other things, more energy, strength & clarity.

Kambo secretion contains a unique and very complex cocktail of bio-active peptides that are very similar to the peptides of the human body. Peptides consist DNA, RNA and water that is made of a combination of amino acids. A peptide can have a wide variety of functions in the body. Hormones, for example, are peptides that transmit signals between glands and cells to regulate functions such as sleep and blood sugar regulation. Antibiotics are also peptides and they inhibit the growth of microorganisms in the body. These are just 2 examples of the 9 identified peptides in Kambo.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼
Originally, Kambo is used in the Amazon because of the following 3 functions:

1♡ It is used for hunting to energize, strengthen and cleanse the body and mind.
2♡ It is used as medicine against infections, fever, infections, malaria and snake bites.
3♡ It is used to clear dark or negative energy, also known as Panema. When Panema is cleared, everything becomes easier, obstacles can be overcome and life flows in a more natural flow. Kambo is also used for improving fertility.

𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼
Thanks to globalization, Kambo has also been discovered for some time in the Western world, first reported in 1925 by a Frenchman. Just as the tribes from the Amazon are now also using Western knowledge and medicines, we now also have the opportunity to make use of their knowledge and experiences. I am convinced that sharing knowledge yields benefits for all parties. Especially when there is a fair exchange (see IAPK).

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗴
Kambo is a frog that is abundant in the Amazon due to the fact that it has only a few natural predators. The frog secretion I use is ethically harvested with great care and respect for the frog as the Matsés tribe have a great bond with the frogs and believe it is very bad to harm the frogs. Kambo is applied through small burnt holes in the skin.

Lisa Kersbergen is trained by the IAKP in 2019 and has given hundreds of Kambo sessions ever since. The International Association of Kambo Practitioners is a non-profit organization that wants to support and encourage Kambo in a safe, responsible and professional way through training, awareness, knowledge development and sharing, personal skills development, research and training.

The IAKP is committed to the sustainability of the tribes that possess the knowledge of this amazing medicine and so generously share it with us.
